Today I will show you ow I cut and sew a plinted baby gown
Here is the items needed to sew the gown
My lace, bridal satin , lining, and strong net or hard net which ever name you choose to call it.
First I fold my lace material by two and cut out my half for length the front by nine inches and fold it again by two and place the front part on the other side of the material and cut out the back side and give out my one inches allowance for zip as you see from the photo, this is how it looks after cutting.
And I proceed also by cutting out my lining for both side.
After that I proceeded by cutting out my down part for the gown which I will be using the bridal satin, my lining and also my net as you can see from the photo and for that my bridal satin is longer than my lining and so do my lining longer than my net.
After that I proceed by fixing my lining for both the back and front side and and iron it before joining and this is it after fixing the lining.
And also join the down part by putting my net in the middle and my bridal satin at the top and the lining bellow.
After that I will join the upper side together which is the back and front side before joining the down part were I'm going to be plinting it together and this is it after fixing, how it looks both inside and out.
After that I proceed by fixing my zip and also put in a belt to give it a fitting for the baby and after fixing and joining everything this is our baby gown set and ready to wear.
