How I Cook Spicy Adobong Pusit (Squid)

Hello! How are you? It has been months since I ate Adobong Pusit (squid), so I requested my mom to buy the ingredients, and I decided to cook it immediately because sometimes squid can be smelly if you store it in the freezer for a long time. I learned a lesson before. I have craved this food for a while now. I wanted it to be spicy, and I never intentionally cooked it super spicy. The green chilis my mom bought are super spicy, so it added more spiciness to the food, but for me, it is fine. Maybe the level of spiciness I can endure is high.

Whenever I cook this food, I always make sure to clean it as much as possible. I don't want my food to be fishy; I want it to be savory. Sometimes my dad always forgets to remove the eye from the squid, which is a no-no for me, so whenever I cook this food, I always clean it the second time.

Then I added 4 cups of water covered the pan and cooked the squid until tender. I gradually check the squid from time to time to see if it is tender already.

After that, I added 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to balance the taste. I added the green chilis in too some of the green chilis I used are either not spicy at all or super spicy this one is another level. LOL
