I have a few photos that I want to share, but because they all tend to speak for themselves I thought I would include a few Ecency hints!
One of the things that I enjoy most about Ecency Waves is that it's an easy place for people to ask questions and there's always someone there to respond, give the answer and help each other out.
Today I was asked how to use Ecency Points. You earn Points for each action you make using Ecency.
My favorite way to use them is to pass them around as tips and award them as contest prizes.
You can promote your post with Points. That puts it into a queue where it rotates through the feed and allows more people to see it. I would recommend only doing that with your very best posts that you want people to associate with the type of work that you do.
The other really great way to use your Points is to click on the flame icon in the upper right of the app or Buy Perks button on the website and purchase Boost+. Ecency will give you a 200 HP delegation for the amount of time that you choose to buy. It will give you more voting power and also allow you to earn larger curation rewards when you vote.
Sharing Points with new users is an excellent way to help them get started on Hive! Having a 200 HP delegation gets them off to a great start.
If you are using Waves there is a 'translate' button in the 3 dot menu on each Wave. I use it frequently to translate Waves posted in Spanish and German!
Use Waves to engage with others and make new friends!
Ecency generosly created a designated Waves app so that other front-ends on Hive can easily clone Waves app and add short content to their own front ends. One more way Ecency is helping Hive grow.
