NOW SHOWING: The Spear of Destiny
First of all I'd like to greet everyone a Happy New Year. Hope everyone is safe.
My latest story published on The Black Theater channel is about Longinus, the Roman soldier who stabbed Jesus Christ on the side during the crucifixion.
The story was inspired in part by an NFT collection I recently minted. The NFT is a collection of skull knights.
Skull Knights #144 (which I own)
The NFT collection has some badass looking skull knights and then an angle sparked in my mind.
Then I remembered Longinus and the Spear of Destiny. I've just wondered that during Easter sermons would be about Dimas or Pilate or Judas but I've not heard anything about Longinus, who was also present in the thick of things.
My train of thought just suddenly went wild and before I knew it, I have a short story created.
I had been wanting to write about the subject of immortality for The Black Theater but can't find the right angle. When I minted one from the Skull Knights collection, the embers in my mind of the immortality idea just sparked into a full flame.
