The joy of being celebrated as a married man or woman is real fun. Every young person usually get to that point in his or her life where he or she would not cherish casual relationship anymore. At such time, they strive to be hooked up in marriage. The blessedness of marriage is sweet.
It was such fun when I joined my brother to go and fulfill the requirements for his marriage. He has been a struggling young man who had been pushing his life up to get established in many aspects. This guy was not such a sophisticated kind of human being. One would not believe easily that he would achieve such a feat as getting married. But I was really pleased to witness is marital rites and ceremonies.
The 26th of August, 2024 will always register in the mind of my brother as the beginning of a new era in his life. He took the beautiful sister which he was pleased to spend his life with and led her to the family with the vow of being married to her for the rest of his life.
It was a great event. Three segments of the ceremony was held on that day.
First, the couple went to the registry to obtain the legal document of being recognized as married couples. That was successfully done. The brother and the sister with their respective families signed the legal document from the Federal Republic Of Nigeria to seal their commitment of being married to each other.
After the registry, there was engagement ceremony. The engagement ceremony is the traditional marital rites of the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria.
The ceremony was crowned with the reception ceremony. You can share in our joy through these pictures.
