Hard work pays. It is good to work hard. Laziness is not good and laziness is an enemy of progress. It is good to work hard. At the same time, luck has helped many people to realize their dream. Luck is like what we refer to as favor. There are those times when help could just locate someone and bring him or her a blessing which he or she would not have been able to work for.
It is in the spirit of hard work that we go to school in order get ourselves equipped so that we can be able to fit into the labour market and begin to make money for ourselves. Sometimes, people get to learn some professional practice so that they could render services to others and get rewarded for that. Working hard is what we have been taught and that is what we have believe in.
On the course of working hard to get ourselves established, we can encounter some kind of help or the other which we did not even work for. That type of situation is luck. There are opportunities that we just come across without labouring for them. Those kind of opportunities are luck so luck has it own place on the course of our lives.
The issue of luck becomes abused when someone stops doing decent productive work and keeps looking out for where he could win some sort of luck. That is that bad perspective of luck.
So, in my judgement both luck and hard work are working together in one’s life. To succeed, someone needs to work hard. Hard work is the soul of successful business. Hard work brings profits and fruitfulness.
A good luck is what everyone desire. We expect that sometime somewhere we could come across that opportunity that will place in our hands great rewards without much work.
