I've been trying to figure out the fun things I've done in the last six months and I can say I'm just so poor in having fun. You all won't believe I haven't attended many events in the last six months.....shame on me right🫣🤣
Well, my location of work is at the rural area so this has greatly hindered my outdoor activities and there is nothing I can do about it for now till I'm been transferred. So in the last six months the fun outdoor event I've done is just two.
During the New Year's celebration, which is the first week of January 2024, I went out with my sisters and we visited a park in my state of residence. I've been hearing how lovely that park was, so myself and my sisters concluded that our fun time at the beginning of this year will be at the park.
So I was privileged to ride a big pendulum swing for the first time in my life. At first, when the swing started moving I was scared but when it stabilizes and started to rotate in different directions I love it movement. I and my younger sis was enjoying ourselves on the swing while my elder sister was scared to death that she screamed on top of her voice and later vowed never to try it again in her life.
We made fun of her but she didn't mind at all, I enjoyed my ride and also planned to visit that park again during my next holiday by August to ride the pendulum for the second time and others that are related to it.
Also in the third month of this year, I was privileged to be in my state capital to witness a concert by an Orchestra band called His Praise(HP) and the concert was tagged Gratitude, it was the band's fifth year concert. This band is a Christian Orchestra group which comprises of Young talented individuals who uses their God giving talent to worship God in different dimension through the use of various kinds of instruments
I missed their concert last year but I was fortunate to be around when their concert was held this year. All their presentations were top notch, I enjoyed myself during the program and I danced beyond my imagination.
So apart from these two outdoor events that I've attended this year, my other fun moments have been all by myself, been indoors, cooking my food because I'm a lover of home made food, creating posts on Hive, surfing the Internet, listening to music and watching movies on my phone.
Although I'm an indoor person who loves to do her thing on a low key at home alone, but the greatest hindrances I'm having for now is my location of work which is rural area.
This has been preventing me from attending events, most times the event I've been invited to doesn't concise with my availability in town, so this has prevented me from attending events. I believe there will be great improvement in my outdoor fun time when I'm able to get my work transfer from where I am which is the village to the city.
