So i am now on my holiday and it means i can relax for 2 weeks and hopefully pick up a nice bit of silver, i have also brought my old DSLR with a small equitorial mount to do a bit of astrophotography, it is amazing how versatile a camera over a decade old can be, as you can see from my 1st image using a 300mm lens on a Canon 1000d of a bird of prey (not a clue what it is) but it was at the service station near stanstead airport while i waited for the electric car to charge.
This is the camera & lens combo i used for all the photos of planes & the bird, i have added a red dot finder to the top and a vixen rail to mount it to my skywatcher az gti eq.
Anyway enough about cameras and let me show you the last bit of silver i bought before i went on my jollys.
I have not done any research on this coin of yet but from what i can remember it is one of the German states, it is not the best condition and has a value of around £8 with the silver value probably around the £1 mark.
This has become my pocket piece of silver for the moment until i find something else quirky and it can go into my safe with all the other random bits & pieces.
While i was charging the car i was under the flight path of Stanstead airport so i could snap a plane every few mins which was nice, not a clue what any of them are and the last plane not even sure what the hell it was.
This is the plane i didnt have a clue on has it has no livery so maybe a private jet.
Remember dont drink & ebay as you will end up a knights helmet and a hangover, hope your all well and sending my best wishes.
