This is my post for #freewriters 2271 prompt big convulsion hosted by @mariannewest

Around 10 years ago my youngest was diagnosed with MS, they came to this diagnosis when they saw lesions on her brain, I spent many nights sitting in the hospital with her being knocked out from a seizure, she would not even have a gag reflux.

She was having what they call grand mal seizures, she would be like this for days. A grand mal seizure is different from having a big convulsion. A seizure has more to do with your brain misfiring and a convulsion has more to do with the muscles contracting and relaxing repeatedly.

Now she talks to people who are not here, sometimes being very violent with them and so much hatred, and then there are days when she is so happy and I see glimpses of how she used to be. I do not know if this is caused by the seizures that she used to have or the drugs that she has done, but I do know that I love her and will treat her no differently than anyone else who has a mental illness.

She thinks her DNA has been changed, she really believes this and thinks people who are dead are not dead and people who are not dead are. Some days there is no talking to her. I have tried to get her to see someone but she refuses to go. She tells me that I need to learn to live with her being this way. Today has been a bad day.

Prayers for your daughter. I know how hard it is to deal with this type of mental thought process because of several of my family members. No seizures but hallucinations etc. You love your kids no matter what and pray God takes care of their needs.
I'm concerned about felt.buzz and haven't seen anything from him.
!ALIVE

@myjob! You Are Alive so I just staked 0.1 $ALIVE to your account on behalf of @ wandrnrose7. (3/10)

The tip has been paid for by the We Are Alive Tribe through the earnings on @alive.chat, feel free to swing by our daily chat any time you want, plus you can win Hive Power (2x 50 HP) and Alive Power (2x 500 AP) delegations (4 weeks), and Ecency Points (4x 50 EP), in our chat every day.

These last 3 days have been very rough, but it seems as if she might be coming out of it now.

I hope he is well, I will pray for his health and well-being.

When I worked for the bookmobile team at the library, we often visited nursing homes where some of the residents suffered extreme dementia and similar mental issues. It was sometimes strange and surreal, but always disconcerting. But we expect some folks to lose their marbles as they age. It's hard to see one's parents fade. It has to be supremely difficult to see that in a child, though. I can only imagine the struggle.

It pulls at my heart, all I can do is pray.
My Mother cared for people with Alzheimer's in her home for over 30 years, it is a sad, sad disease. The people themselves are happy, it is the families who suffer.
