In my younger days when a little girl got her hair pulled by a little boy and her parents told her, it's ok dear, it just means he likes you. This teaches the little girl that it is ok for a boy to hurt her because he likes her. Times have changed and now you should never do that, it sends a message that abuse is ok if she wants to be liked by the boy.
You should not only talk to your daughter about this but also tell your son that this behavior is not acceptable.
When your daughter becomes a teenager and a boy keeps asking her questions she does not want to answer because it’s none of his business, she does not need to answer him. If he keeps asking she should know it is ok to walk away. Teach your daughter this, she should not be forced to answer uncomfortable questions.
Teach your son to respect girls, to help them when they need a hand and not to expect something in return. Teach them when they are young that housework can be done by both sexes. It is not just a woman's job, not when both have to work. Teach him to cook.
Teach your daughter to accept a hand without feeling she has to give something in return and there is nothing wrong in giving a boy a hand when he is in need.
