What is your favorite breed of dog? For me this is a hard question to answer because whatever the breed, I fall in love especially if it is a puppy, but older dogs have also won my heart. The puppy in the above photo belongs to my grandson.
This one was a Mom can you watch my dog for me? We had him for 15 years.
When our house was broken into we were told to not get an alarm system, to get a large dog. We got this one when he was a puppy, he slept in one of my husband's shoes. We were never robbed again. We had him for 12 years.
After the other dogs had passed away and we were never getting another dog, our granddaughter asked if we could keep her dog, it was fighting with the older dog in their house. This was four years ago and we still have her.
Now we have our son's dog, too. We have had her for over a year now. She is one of the smartest dogs we have ever owned. She is a black mouth Kerr and is of the best nature, nothing seems to bother her.
This is the dog that will always be in my heart, I do love the others but this one was my buddy, he went everywhere with us and even though it has been 25 or 30 years since we lost him, it still hurts.
