I am sitting here in my own little world happily pulling weeds when a sprinkler head breaks from one of the sprinklers that water the areca palms and water is going 25 feet in the air. I run to turn the sprinklers off and my husband goes to see what broke.
It was a fitting that broke, he says he has more. 30 minutes later he is standing over me griping how he has every size fitting except the one he needs and he proceeds to tell me how much he hates irrigation and now he has to go to Home Depot and buy the right size fitting.
While he is carrying on about hating irrigation, my daughter is in the yard yelling about how her DNA has been changed, her belly button is not in the same place that it used to be. I have tried to tell her she is 43 not 23 and things change when you get older.
And while they both carry on, I am listening to Bridge over Troubled Water. I only want to stay in my little world of pulling weeds, but don’t quote me! on that.
