FUN TRIP

in #hive-15385022 hours ago

This year have been an interesting year, with lots of fun, hardship, joy, sadness, and above all, amazing accomlishments.

Travel, the one thing i enjoy doing the most, if given the opportunity, i will want to spen the rest of my life travelling round the globe. i don't actually know why or when i began to like traveling, but I just found myself loving it.

Most times, i hear people, especially the elderly, complain about how stressful and time consuming it is to travel. One reply i have to offer is that "one man's food is another man's poison."

Early this year, i travelled to two different places, the first was Ebonyi state, while the second, was a trip to Portharcourt. Both trips were great, and lovely, most especially, that of Ebonyi state.

No cap, portharcourt is a lovely state, a place full of good and bad, hustlers and lazy people, beautiful and ugly, all depending on the direction you look in, and your motive of going there.

Early this year, I travelled to Ebonyi state for a two weeks practical experience. I actually thought Ebonyi state is a boring place, but when i got there, my expectations were surpassed.

The views there are amzing, street arts every where, the designs of the city of Abakiliki are mindblowing. Before now, i actually visited Abakiliki once, that should be 5 years ago or so, but seems like the place i stayed was not close to the lively part of Ebonyi state.

This time around, my residence was close to the government house, and i really enjoyed my stay.

The first place i visited was their mall. Its really huge, though not all the stores were active (some have no occupants), they still maintained the mall and made it as beautiful as ever.

amusement park

In the mall, I went to the VR game area. It was a scary game. i've forgotten the game's name, but it was really scary. my friend almost shit his pants. haha.

The next place i went was their amusement park. It was not that equiped, no rollercoaster, but the place is is really nice. As at when i went there, On a saturday evening, the place was surprisingly empty. I don't know why, but then, i and my cousin (he is schooling in Ebonyi state) went in to see how beautiful the place is. Though empty, the place was nice.

Next, i went to play tennis, and i also played snooker the next day. its been long time i last played pool.

The next place i went to was the stadium. Unfortunately, it was saturday and the doors were locked after 12 noon. Quite disappointing cause' i heard quite a lot of amazing thing about the stadium.

From the stadium, i went straight to the golf course. Just as the stadium, i was disappointed as they denied me entry. They said exept members of Abakiliki golf club, no other people are allowed inside the course. quite disappointing though. I wanted to register immediately, but the price of registration is quite expensive. I can't use such money to register for golf, not when i am young and have lots of problems to solve with that money.

I almost forgot, another place i visited was prison - Abakiliki prison. I have Claustrophobia, so i was really scared. I payed no mind to my fear, and forced myself inside the prison. When i passed the first door and they locked it, i became real scared. I I tried everything possible to remain calm, but i could not. I had to give the prisoners what i bought for them, then i took off back home. i could not stand it.

I visited many other places, had fun and then i came back from Ebonyi state.

I think the golf club needs to allow none members to view their golf course. Also, prisoners needs to be treated better and fed better.

I see.
You wlc sir.

You really did not just travel but quite explored the city, hehe.
Travelling is really great although you can't deny the fact that it's time consuming, personally, I don't even care for the time, lol
I just want them to give me good roads, I can spend the whole day

It can be time consuming, but all the time spent is worth it.
Good roads on the other hand makes travelling better

No lies at all

Generally, traveling results in a pleasant adventure, I was surprised that you have decided to visit a prison, that is a special type of tourism, there are tours that are dedicated to visiting these types of places such as asylums, prisons, places where they have serial murders occurred. etc Quite curious, right?

For me, traveling is a pleasure, even though currently due to my health problems I cannot do it, I like to travel, that sensation is unique, that adrenaline rush is unmatched, that encourages you to stay alive and dream.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip, but I have one question: how much were they charging you to become a member of the golf club? Can you tell me the approximate amount in dollars to give me an idea?

I was really scared when i went to the prison. It felt like something was going to happen to me, maybe i'll get hurt or something. It was fun, the adrenaline rush reached its peak which gave me a whole different sensation. Really amazing and worth trying again.

I'm sorry bout' your health. I wish you quick recovery.

I was charged 10K Naira, which is about 6.101097 USD as at today's NGN/USD exchange rate,
