Hi,
With a lot of people deliberately staying in Bronze, I wondered how Gold compared, is it really worth 'going for Gold'?
So let's compare Gold III Reward Chests:
With those of an account in Bronze I League:
DEC
The first and easiest thing to look at would be average DEC per chest:
To work out the number of DEC chests we need to take all the other chests from the total:
The Formula: DEC Chests = Total Chests - (Card Chests + Pack Chests + Potion Chests)
Gold III:
DEC Chests = 58 - (28 + 2 + 13) = 15
Average DEC per Gold III Chest = 1976 / 15 = 131.733
% DEC Chests = (15 / 58) * 100 = 25.8 %
Bronze I:
DEC Chests = 44 - (20 + 0 + 10) = 13
Average DEC per Bronze I Chest = 140 / 13 = 10.769
% DEC Chests = (13 / 44) * 100 = 29.5 %
Cards
Next we will look at the Cards
% Chance to get a Card Chest
Formula: (Cards / Total Chests) * 100
Gold III
(28 / 58) * 100 = 48%
Bronze I
(20 / 44) * 100 = 45%
% Chance to get an Epic card
Formula: (Epic Cards / Total Chests) * 100
Gold III
(2 / 58) * 100 = 3%
Bronze I
(1 / 44) * 100 = 2%
% Chance to get a Rare card
Formula: (Rare Cards / Total Chests) * 100
Gold III
(4 / 58) * 100 = 6.9%
Bronze I
(2 / 44) * 100 = 4.5%
% Chance to get a Common card
Formula: (Common Cards / Total Chests) * 100
Gold III
(22 / 58) * 100 = 38%
Bronze I
(17 / 44) * 100 = 39%
Gold Cards:
Both players were lucky enough to get a Gold Foil Common Reward card
Summary:
Gold III gets 13 times more DEC
There is a 3% increase in card drops
There is a 1% better chance to get Epic Reward Cards
There is a 2.4% better chance to get Rare Reward Cards
There is a 1% worse chance you will get Common Reward Cards
You have a greater chance of getting Chaos Legion Packs
So do you still want to play in Bronze I?
Personally I think there is better earning potential in Gold III
Hope you found this food for thought
Have fun,
