We went on a family excursion with the little ones of the house to enjoy our tourist place, the little town. A place with a pleasant atmosphere where it is very visited on weekends, carnival, Easter and vacations.

Fuimos de excursión familiar con los peques de la casa para que disfrutaran de nuestro lugar turístico, el pueblito. Un lugar con un ambiente agradable donde es muy visitado los fines de semana, carnaval, semana santa y vacaciones.

Getting to the place is a little difficult in my case because I have a sedan car, since the road is dirt and when it rains it deteriorates, making it difficult to pass. But it is worth the trip because when you get to the top of the dam you can enjoy an excellent view.

Llegar al lugar es un poco difícil en mi caso por tener un auto sedan, ya que el camino es de tierra y cuando llueve se deteriora, dificultando el paso. Pero vale la pena el viaje porque al llegar a la cima de la presa se puede disfrutar de una excelente vista.

My kids were anxious to get in the water and I was looking for a place to park and start enjoying what the place had in store for us.

Mis hijos estaban ansiosos por meterse en el agua y yo buscaba un sitio para aparcar y empezar a disfrutar de lo que el lugar nos tenía reservado.

And the fun began, I had to keep an eye on my children because the current of the river was very strong, at the moment I only had to put my feet in the water to cool off because I had to cook roast meat on the stove.

Y empezó la diversión, tenía que vigilar a mis hijos porque la corriente del río era muy fuerte, de momento sólo tenía que meter los pies en el agua para refrescarme porque tenía que cocinar carne asada en el fogón.

I love to see my children enjoying the place. This joy gives me strength for the daily struggle in this country of the Venezuelan plains. This quality time is the best inheritance I can leave them. They are my engine of struggle.

Me encanta ver a mis hijos disfrutar del lugar. Esta alegría me da fuerzas para la lucha diaria en este país de los llanos venezolanos. Este tiempo de calidad es la mejor herencia que les puedo dejar. Ellos son mi motor de lucha.

My son wanted to learn how to fish and we headed to the top of the dam where we cast our first hook and line with bait.
After more than an hour there were no fish to be caught, we finally ended up jumping into the water to cool off, it was too cold and relaxing, my girls did not want to get out, it was time to leave and it was getting late to return home.

Mi hijo quería aprender a pescar y nos dirigimos a lo alto de la presa donde lanzamos nuestro primer anzuelo con cebo.
Después de más de una hora no había peces que pescar, finalmente acabamos saltando al agua para refrescarnos, hacía demasiado frío y relajante, mis hijas no querían salir, era hora de irse y se hacía tarde para volver a casa.
