As far as I'm concerned, when you make a commitment and respect it, you've probably done less than your duty; ditto for those who do their job in an appropriate manner.

I'm not a trader and therefore I don't benefit from the advantages of tourism and being a hermit seeing more confusion certainly doesn't make me happier; among other things, these beloved traders who for the first time in history enjoyed a summer season with record earnings, have nevertheless continued to exploit their employees by paying them truly ridiculous salaries.

A detta sua, ciò avrebbe incrementato il turismo.
Ho riflettuto un po' e di seguito Ti illustrerò quello che la mia mente ha partorito.

Io non credo proprio di dover ringraziare un cazzo di nessuno per aver fatto semplicemente il suo dovere; viviamo in un paese in cui ormai la parola data non ha valore e, quei pochi che rispettano una promessa o un impegno sono dei personaggi virtuosi da venerare e ringraziare e stessa cosa dicasi per quelli che fanno il proprio dovere, come se una persona pagata per fare un lavoro avesse altre opzioni.
Per quel che mi riguarda, quando si prende un impegno e lo si rispetta, si è fatto probabilmente meno del proprio dovere; idem con patate per chi svolge il proprio lavoro in maniera consona.

Non sono un commerciante e quindi non beneficio dei vantaggi del turismo ed essendo un eremita vedere più confusione non mi rende certo più felice; tra l'altro, questi amati commercianti che hanno per la prima volta nella storia goduto di una stagione estiva con guadagni da record, hanno comunque continuato a sfruttare i loro dipendenti corrispondendogli degli stipendi davvero ridicoli.
Pertanto no, non sono felice nemmeno per questo; nella mia testolina dovrebbero restare poche attività a Reggio, eccellenti, che offrono ottimi servizi, serie e soprattutto oneste... Ma oneste sotto tutti i punti di vista e non solo guardando ciò che conviene.

Viviamo in una città in cui non sono garantiti i servizi basilari; parliamo proprio delle fondamenta e, nonostante tutto, qui si parla di turismo.
Voglio farti un esempio; ieri ho giocato a calciotto e un amico, che tra l'altro non ha mai calcato dei campi di pallone se non nelle partite tra scapoli e ammogliati, si lamentava perché non ci passavamo abbastanza la palla.
Devi sapere che la squadra imbastita ieri era composta da gente che non sapeva nemmeno mantenere il proprio ruolo, quindi si tratta di restare semplicemente nella propria posizione; cercavo di far capire a questo amico che non si può pretendere, da chi non sa svolgere un compito passivo come quello che ho appena enunciato sopra, che passi il pallone e lo faccia anche bene... È come chiedere a chi non sa ancora camminare di correre!
Non fraintendermi credo che il turismo sia importante, soprattutto in un territorio come quello da me abitato in cui si potrebbe vivere solo di quello; credo però che prima di svilupparlo sia necessario sistemare alcune cose anche perché, se non lo si fa, questi fantomatici turisti di cui parliamo vengono una volta e poi non tornano più.
La città deve essere pulita, non puoi ospitare delle persone in un immondezzaio, sistemata questa cosa si potrebbe passare anche a sistemare strade, aiuole e marciapiedi in modo da dare un giusto decoro e presentarsi bene soprattutto con gli amici stranieri.
Naturalmente una città votata al turismo deve poter garantire lo scorrere dell'acqua nelle tubazioni cittadine per 365 giorni l'anno; non fai una bella figura con i turisti che, dopo essere andati al mare, tornano a casa o in albergo e non possono nemmeno farsi una doccia.
La sanità è sicuramente più importante per i cittadini ma, anche per i turisti, è sempre bene che ci sia un ottimo pronto soccorso nei posti in cui vanno, no?
Non sto qui a dirti che, se dovessi scegliere tra il pronto soccorso di Reggio Calabria e la preghiera, nonostante sia agnostico, opterei per la seconda scelta.
Una volta sistemate queste, che sono cose di primo livello, si potrebbe passare al livello numero due che sarebbe aumentare le strutture ricettive... Vuoi fare turismo ma in città non c'è un Hotel che possa accogliere una convention di oltre 100 persone, direi che esiste un problema.
Si ci sono i B&B ma se vai a Rimini o sul Gargano perdi il conto del numero degli Hotel presenti.
A questo punto, se tutte queste cose avessero un loro ordine e una loro logica, potremo parlare di turismo; fermo restando che comunque non dovrei ringraziare nessuno perché tutti gli attori di questa storia stanno facendo meno del loro dovere:

Si perché parliamoci chiaro, un Giapponese sa i cazzi di dove si trovi Reggio Calabria, se gli dici Italia Ti risponde Roma, Milano o al massimo Firenze.
Al massimo posso dirmi grazie da solo per la pazienza che ancora ho nei confronti della mia città, o meglio, di chi la amministra.
