A weird find and a smile.

Now surely these should be on a farm? A Happy Friday to all and some say that it is a strange life that we live.

I will firstly show you how farm life and city suburbs blend.

We travelled to a coastal town called Gordon's Bay as someone told me that there was something for us to see. In here I will show you some experiences along the travel and some amazing sights.

We stopped off at a service station to buy the local newspaper, as it is a good way to see what local life is all about.

Surprise, surprise, look what was feeding behind the service station.

Sheep and plenty of them in a city suburb.

Of course, we had to stop for a pedestrian, as they have right of way here.

And finally, we reached our destination.

So we first sat at a restaurant and here you can see that the manager came to see me.

And he had that pleading look in his eyes. Maybe he knew that I had a ham sandwich?

So I broke a piece off for him to enjoy.

Marian also had a ham sandwich, and he turned his attention back to her.

And so she obliged, and we thought that he would be happy.

But no, he returned his attention and intention back to me, and ended up eating half of my sandwich and half of Marian's sandwich. So, he ended up having a full sandwich and we ended up having 2 half sandwiches. Now how is that for fairness?

Just a final look at the ocean.

Like I said at the start, we came to see something here and I will share it in a #marketfriday post later today. Always amazing what one can find on the travels in this area. There are some plots with horses and other animals about 3 km's further up the road, but where we saw the sheep, there are no plots so I don't know where they came from. Everything in the area where they are is filled with housing establishments. Maybe they belong to the owner of the service station, and he brings them with him to work everyday in a truck to keep the grass short.
An excellent garden service me thinks.

And That's All Friends.

Beautiful pictures 😍

Thank you kindly!

The views are lovely,
You guys care for your pet that what you feed it more😀.

Oh ok,

Thank you and no, it is not our pet.

My aunt lives in Gordon's Bay, yet we've never been there! Lucky manager to end up with a sandwich but I'm not surprised as Marian must still be missing her little squirrel children!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend Zac;)

So now we are waiting for you guys to come and visit your aunt in Gordon's Bay, so the me and Marian can come and kiss you. And to congratulate your husband on his wonderful wife.

We now have one little squirrel here, but he is still very wild and it's going to take time to befriend him. Of course, Marian is very happy at the prospect of getting him. So let's see.

Much to enjoy with all of the new power cuts Lady Lizzie 😉

I hope your weekend is also kind to you.

Have some !PIZZA and !LUV

What a treat that would be Zac! If we go down that way again, I will definitely contact you so I can meet you guys in person & introduce my hubby to my wonderful friend & his wife🤗
We're only experiencing power cuts from stage 4 onwards, courtesy of the April storms! The whole metro was spared as many roads are still not repaired!
Otherwise, I started writing a rant about thievery at our friends' home that was partially destroyed. Our local SAPS aren't interested while the local scrapyard is making a killing, they're literally bursting at the seams.
Otherwise, a good weekend, been watching much of the late queen & the new king😉
Have a blessed weekend Zac🙏🏻

I like that manager. He is very hospitable even though he would ask for a small token😂. I like to travel and see new things. The sheep are so cute unlike the ones we have here but whatever. Haha. Is it food you want to show us? I'll be checking...😁

Nope, that manager takes bribes and I think he is under paid, as he has very pleading eyes 😛
Those are Merino sheep and they are famous for their wool.
Again a nope, as it is not food.

Ours look more like goats...haha

We also have those here, but higher up in other parts of the country. 😉

😁🤗Morning! Looking forward to some photographs (stories😁)
