Animals and birds can teach us how to live together in peace.
The child in me clamored for a quick swing and then the little bugger was happy.
Farm life is so very different from city life, as feelings of serenity enter one, due to the open air, activities, noises and sights. Thoughts of life as it was always meant to be course through my mind, as since the beginning of mankind, we were born to plant things.
I did a post about this farm recently in another community and if you like this one, then you can have a look at it Here
A guy on a tractor was preparing the land for new grape vine plantings.
Of course, I headed to the small dam on the farm in order to show you the co-existence of the farm's residents.
Two ducks were peacefully floating around in the morning sun.
And here we had a bit of a traffic jam, but the male goose simply told Billy the goat to be careful of the kids as he passed.
The 3 younger ones scampered through, whilst the other 2 simply followed their parents.
Ah! How is this for a Sunday rest?
The goats were having lunch in the background.
Something rattled in the bushes behind me and this black gentleman popped out to have a look if I am friend or foe :)
He led his family out and they strolled around close by.
Now here's something new, as I spoke to the driver of this limousine, and he told me that a rich guy bought land behind the mountain and that they are building a road to the new farm. You can see the start of the road here and it goes over the hill that you can see in the distance at the right of the picture.
The guy works for a farming development company and I was glad to hear that there will be 3 dams on the new farm. The reason for my gladness is that there will be many photo opportunities at the dams on that farm. It is also below the mountain where the Jackal Buzzards breed and you can imagine the shots that I will get there.
So, to get back to the subject of this post, at the small dam that I showed you, there are also other residents such as rabbits and chickens and they all live in peace together. Nobody robs nobody and nobody fights with nobody, even though they are all different species.
Such a pity that we as human beings cannot live in peace with the different shades of humanity in our own areas, or countries.
Such is life methinks!
And That's All Friends.
