Today's teaching was extraordinary because I was made to understand that man which is created in Gods image had four HEARTS and these hearts are what makes them to be behave or do things mostly in the house of God.
Let us look at these hearts. According to the book of MATTHEW 13:3-8 We were made to understand that the seed as been illustrated in the Gods word is the word of God and it is expected that every christian who believes in God and do Gods word must be able to abide and to that which is written in the word.
We were made to understand that the heart of men can be
• STONY/ROCKY HEART
• WAYSIDE HEART
•THORN HEART
• GOOD HEART. Now it is left for every christian to know the heart which he or she possesses and If it is the heart which do the things of God rightfully or the heart which do not follow the path of Christ Jesus.
Now let us understand that the WAYSIDE heart are people who comes to church and hears the word of God but because they are not seen as people who believes in the word of God , therefore the devil comes and takes it away from them.
The ROCKY heart are people who are eager to hear the word of God, they receives God's word with joy but because they are not deeply rooted in the word of God when temptation comes around they easily forget the word which is then and give up easily.
The heart of men which is the THORN heart are people who are only interested about the things of the world, they are not after the word of God. They are seen as people who are more after the pleasures
and riches of the earth. They are not concerned with studying the word of God and doing that which is written in Gods word.
The GOOD HEART is that Gods child who is after the things that pleases God , they are not after the things of the world they are dedicated In doing the will of God. They keep abiding to the will of God. They do not faint In times of temptation. They are fully committed in the things of God. They are seen as people who go about teaching amd making people comes unto the knowledge of God word.
Therefore as Gods children let us choose the good heart which after the things of God and in doing that God in his infinite mercy will keep blessing us. Amen
