I tend to use my blog for a mixture of the personal and social and so it's a great source to review the year just gone...
It's been a varied and busy 2024...
Overall I say the year has been characterised by getting back to work and a new relationship, but I choose not to share details of the latter on here!
December...
Dominated by Obvs XMAS, but also three tasty Hive pumps, one almost to $0.50.
I also posted a couple of Rubix cube solves, that's something I got into this year!
I would have posted them earlier but 3Speak was down for several weeks.
November
November was all about the US Election, Trump winning and crypto PUMPING.
Back Home, Gregg Wallace got burned, remember that, seems like an age ago already!
October
October was pretty unspectacular for me, I accidentally got my MOT late! But besides that not a lot to report....
September...
I got a new job.... as an MP's casewoker.
August...
I managed 400K steps in the month of August, I had a very active summer in general, which is the way I like it!
July...
I watched quite a lot of the Olympics, it was hot, I didn't do much, which is also the way I like it!
We also had an election, Labour won, the honeymoon period is now very much OVER!
June...
I got a new job, interviewing Travellers, I've since moved on but it was good while it lasted!
Being away for work meant I got in some great summer runs!
May...
I bought a standing desk! Obviously not a stand-out month this one!
April...
I think I was in a bit of a purple patch in April, good food, healthy routine.... I mean my year's been pretty good overall.
March...
My first job of the year, I've had FOUR this year, was interviewing for NatCen, the biggest con, the shit wage!
This year was the year of back to paid work! And it hasn't been too bad, the money's been nice!
February...
I had an actual holiday in February, don't have too many of those! Went to Snowden, or whatever it's called in Welsh. Had great weather for the time of year!
January....
This sort of set the scene for the rest of the year...
I went straight into work, I remember I started back on the 2nd of Jan (ouch!)
2024 Final Thoughts...
2024 was a good solid year, lots of variety, lots of work, a hectic social life, mainly NOT recorded on chain, and ending with some nice price action on crypto.
We're now three days into 2025 and it's going well so far, I've had a few good wins already!
I had a belated start to my detox...
