Technology which is considered as the Boost to human race. It didn't start in the recent years, but was an evolution which took time for proper adaptation and development. Technology has made lifes of its users better, providing different assistance in different fields.
Technology In The Computer Age
When we talk about technology, the first thing that comes to mind of everyone is Computer. Though, it is quite related, but it also broadens to other aspect that would be discoursed later. Computers proved to be the best technological development as it grew from Generations to Generations. This Generations varies with the computer being used, accessibility, flexibility, speed, etc.
First Generation - which is quite known for using vacuum tubes and magnetic drums(as storage). This computers where only afforded by Big tech industries, as it generates lots of heat.
Second Generation - This Generation of computer increased a little as 40 vacuum tubes where replaced by transistors. This computers where also not available for home use.
Third Generation - This Generation brought the real beginner of Computer evolution, as personal computers where now made available. Users could now see their output through the monitor and make an input with the keyboard. Integrated Circuit where used to replace the transistors.
Fourth Generation - Inorder for the third generation to grow faster, the fourth generation had to be introduced. Micro processors where used to replace Integrated Circuit, and various computers where made available for users. Laptops, Desktops, Palmtop, Notebook, etc are commonly seen today.
Fifth Generation - This Generation is still in progress as the development of AI, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency takes over. This generation is believed to be the future of Technology. Blockchain, which is the source of the Hive platform has changed the ways bloggers operates. Content creators can now write their own contents and earn from the comfort of their home.

Blockchain Ecosystem
Blockchain has been able to change the way computer users see the internet. It is important to note that the connection of two or more computers lead to internet, while the blockchain Ecosystem was built on this internet. Blockchain, which shows a clear picture of decentralization and how real transparency works. No doubt, Blockchain is the future of technology, and it can be achieve quickly by the web3.0 structure.
Adverse Effect Of Technology
As Technology development keeps increasing, possible consequences are being attached to it. The following are consequences listed below...
• Human thinking/reasoning would be reduced, since computer can give assistance.
• Students won't find interest in doing Assignment themselves, as OpenAI can now give answers.
• Computers Leads to addiction, most especially gaming.
• Cyber threat has become the order of the day, users now face threats online.
• Government and military agencies now depends more on machines for war operations.
In Conclusion
Technology has evolved over a long period of time, and we are finally in the web3.0 / Blockchain era. Though, some users are still dwelling in the web2.0 era, spending time and resource on a centralize system. The world is changing fast, and it is expected that we change alongside. Let's keep up to date, so we won't be left out.
