I don’t seem to catch a break!

I seem to be having a lot of bad luck lately with regards to traveling. So I scheduled to travel today but some friends hit me up saying they were leaving on friday and asked if I want to join. So I did. We left school yesterday and everything was quite normal. The road was extremely bad and we all become red from the dust on the road. But that’s all part of the “normal“. Since almost everyone one in the bus were friends, they were so many conversations and a lot of things to laugh about until I eventually got tired and slept off.

I woke up after a while and the car took a stop. I wondered why. But in less than a minute, we were moving again. But almost immediately we started moving, we could smell something burning. The driver got down and it turns some kind of band had cut off.

The driver started going through his tools to find another to replace but couldn’t. There was nothing else to do. We just had to sit around and wait.

The driver had called and asked for help from another and in about 30 minutes, the other car was in, gave out what we needed which the driver fixed and we were on our way.

We finally got to the station and went out separate ways.

I called mom to find out if there was anyone at home and she asked that I should pass by the market for the key.

I moved straight to my favorite food spot because I thought I was going to faint at that point.

Then I went to the market. So the plan was to eat and get the key and go home.
But when I was done eating, I felt lazy to go home. So I found a new dress that was just my size and I changed into it. All the signs of travel were gone from my body and I didn’t feel the need to go again.

I decided to go and do some fitting to a dress I am planning to wear for a wedding, which is the main reason for going home.
I got to the shop and it was closed.

This was the only place I trust they can give me what I want so the only option was to go back the next day and I was really hoping they would open. If they didn’t, it meant I wouldn’t have anything to wear for the wedding.

After getting back to the store, I just sat outside and observed like I would usually do. I’ve really missed being a regular market girl.

It was finally time to go home and we locked up and were on our way.

When we got home, we were met by my kid sis and my nephew who is extremely cute.
I took out my phone to take a video of him only to realize it had gone off. And then it hit me, I had left my bag containing my laptop and chargers at the market.
I just thinking how I was going to survive throughout the night because everyone else at home is a proud Samsung ambassador. They claim iPhones are expensive but don’t mind buying more expensive Samsungs.
It appeared my life was on pause cause I literally could not do anything without my phone or pc. I have my whole life stored in them. This situation then forced me into something I hardly do: just sitting and having a conversation with my mom and siblings.😏

I’ve never seen people use these types of buses for long journeys. They don’t look strong.
I thought you stayed in tamale.

Oh hmm😂😂😂.
I stay at Wa. Everyone thinks I’m from Tamale though.
And these are the only buses available from Wa to Bolga. It’s either this or metro mass

The road also looks bad. Maybe they can get you new buses because it doesn’t look safe.

Who will get us the new buses?😂😂

Hmmm, it shall be well.

I’m glad that everything ended well, and that you got to spend some time conversing with your family!

Yay! 🤗
