Mono Monday a few shots from recent walks
Good morning all another week begins and I hope its a good one for you
As I have a tendency to do I am starting the week with a post of Mono Images taken on walks over the last few days.
One morning I was walking along the Cove walk, a walkways built on top of a Hurricane barrier wall here, I hadn't walked it for ages so that morning i decided it was about time I did.
I had a wider lens on for shots of the view from the walkway, when I saw an Osprey fly over and dive for a fish, I quickly switched to the longer 50-400MM lens and tried to get a shot of it, it was a fair way away by the time I had switch lens but caught this shot of it flying past some piers that I thought worked well in Mono

I say Mono as I often do my edits in other shades and not just B&W but as I prepare this post I notice most of these I did in Black and white so I could call it a Monday B&W post but I think Mono Monday sounds better so will stick with that
Since i mentioned the Cove Walk I felt I should include a shot of the walkway you can see another person walking along if you look closely

Speaking of the person in the last photo I am not that comfortable taking photos of people and tend to use a long lens and take shots from a distance hopefully unnoticed, well on that mornings walk I decided to try and get into my uncomfortable zone and take some shots of people with my 28-75 lens hence from closer to them, some taken with the camera up to my eye and some shooting from the hip, how did I do, not really sure I haven't looked at those shots yet but maybe it will be a future post
Walking along West beach I saw the raining ship the Tabor Roy was anchored off the beach again

Often I see lots of seagulls by the beaches but not so often pigeons but one morning there were plenty of them and a bunch flew from the beach onto the powerlines and I got this shot which Makes me thing of the old Alfred Hitchcock movie Birds
