Hello Hello Hivians
Today we are going down to the seashore, to Seafield Beach in Kirkcaldy in Scotland 🏴
A breath of fresh air was what was needed.
We have been having some rough weather and our normal way to the beach was blocked!
It does not really matter where you are on this side of town you can see the football ground as it sits atop a hill.
That was us going through some waste land on our 60 second short cut to the beach.
This would take us parallel to the wee burn and onto the sandy beach.
You can see that the wee burn or stream, now that is a great word to add to talk about in my new podcast Transatlantic Accents: A Comedy Podcast
Sorry shameless plug here 🤣 for our latest episode 👇 👟 by the way if there are any Nigerian 🇳🇬 readers, I would love if you listened and answered the question about shoes for me... A wee prize I am sure would find it's way to you!
So much for the sand and so much for it being a short cut! The winds and high tides has swept sand away and brought shitloads of debris all over the place!
Do you know what all the massive big blocks are?
No way through!
We just kept walking along the wasteland until finding a suitable embarkation point, what a fancy word for a Wednesday!
On to the beach we made it!
We there around lunch time and the light cloud and sky made for some dramatic shots, it is not all about bright blue skies I have found!
To our right side was a Morrison's supermarket, they have a good view if they want to comeout for a smoke. Do you know we say fag for cigarette in the UK, now that is another banger of a word for the podcast!
I love the beach at this time of year as it is only generally dogwalkers and beachcombers that are using it!
So while I was busy taking pictures ...
Mrs T was busy looking down the way at things...
Do you know what the writing would have said?
I am pretty sure I know the first word as it is where we live!
And out came the pottery shards and sea glass...
If you know me, then you will know that blue is my favourite colour so of course I just love this blue seaglass!
But a close second is my love for Orange
Actually we got lots and lots of pottery shards
I know that @mipiano has a collectibles channel so shall make a proper post for including there..
Meanwhile on we go with our walk!
I was playing in the water but got summoned back by Mrs T.
Actually, you can see a wall in that picture that was uncovered by the recent storms!
Can you see a wee black blob in the water? It is a guy sitting on his surfboard.
I do have better pics on my camera but this post is all with Mrs T's phone so that is what you are getting!
It was time to get to the beach on the town side as I was getting peckish!
I always get in the mood for shellfish when I am on the beach, I hope I eat some for lunch!!!
WE made it across the burn
I will leave you with the power of nature.
That log was wedged in the seawall, it must have been by the recent storms as the water normally never gets that high, certainly not to upend a log like that!
This post is of course for #wednesdaywalk which was started by the wonderful @tattoodjay.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!
