in #hive-1092885 months ago

By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.

No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

"It's Okay not to be Okay" - My Mental Health and Treatment Process Update by @priyanarc

Behind the curtain, a lot of things are happening but I have remained silent. I actually chose to be silent because I wanted to focus on my treatment and healing journey. I often feel that this long journey might be never a never ending journey and I won't be able to control my emotions anymore. Absurd and intrusive thoughts are always hanging inside even though I do a lot of activities including traveling. Traveling serves as a temporary remedy for my mental health struggles, and I find immense joy in exploring new places

Mother Necessity and the Final Chapter by @olujay

After turning my entire room upside down and rearranging it for the umpteenth time, I think I have arrived at something that would serve me because I will need it in the coming days with big plans. My mother, walking in and seeing a different thing she said much earlier that day, was taken aback by the crazy amount of work I had to put in yet again, but she was also not even surprised that her son was at it again. I have been on to really adventurous endeavors lately. I have been channeling my inner creatives and cooking things. Like one of my fathers said, impressed by one of my recent feats, "Necessity is the mother of intentions"

Curling around the memories
of a rainy day!
by @chrysanthemum

Today I will tell you about a short walk that made my poetic mind nostalgic. Personally I like the rainy season the most. The mystic raindrops make my thoughts onward to a celestial pride about my own existence. I try to feel each raindrop, which ignites a melancholic note in the symphony of solitude. As I live in the countryside and nature has given its abundance without any boundaries

Adventures In Homesteading (Day 60-65) by @jacobpeacock

Hello Everyone! Storms galore, So much thunder so little lightning, Rainwater abundance, Meeting utility water goals & Searching for an underwear wearing creek bather with the law! Alright, at long last... I find myself in the writing tent when it is not either baking hot inside of it... nor a roaring thunderstorm outside

Bits and Pieces by @jhymi

I’m very flawed. I think it’s one of those things that I’m glad I can admit to myself. That no matter how much I pride myself to be principled and have this outlook my friends think as well put together, a fountain of knowledge and all that, I can at least be truthful to myself to admit that I am flawed as the next guy and every day is characterised by one mistake or the other. That doesn’t mean I’m hypocritical or living a fake life. I do have a lot of scruples and principles that ground me and I can never go against but I just have a long way to go before I can think that I can remotely be where I want to be emotionally, mentally, or even morally

The Great Selfish Act by @honeydue

... of being kind. I know. Feelin' a bit cute, huh? Bound to pass

This Bumpy ride of a week. by @kenechukwu97

This is one of those weeks that is action packed with so many events that were unfolding serially. Yeah. I'm not even kidding. It also felt fast paced in some ways. I had to remind myself a couple of times that today is already Saturday and that we are coming to the end of this week

Shattered Brotherhood! by @tranquil3

What have been some of your life's greatest surprises? My answer: People! Yes, people! I have experienced the greatest surprises of my life from people, so much so that absolutely no character can shock me anymore. Over the years, I have seen it all, how those who are closest to me make promises that they never intended keeping in the first place

Mi Diario: 5 agosto 2024 // My Diary: August 5 2024 by @palomap3

Hola, querido hiver.

A distraction:Modifications on my back door tent by @jerrytsuseer

Being stalled in my life, sick of not having a place to sit outside when I want, I decided to try and use some of the left over vinyl siding pieces, primarily outside corners to try and make the tent the full size it was supposed to be I got this much done yesterday by myself, but it was miserable having only 2 hands and my ladder too large, and rickety so... I contacted my nextdoor neighbor who agreed to help. Then I went and got a badly needed wide step ladder This morning Albert came over, and honestly he did most of the work, he's taller and younger than me. That unsupported back length I plan to use a board and screw it to the house, that will make it nearly impossible to blow away or collapse ↓This is basically the finished project. Albert bless his heard, even moved those huge stones for me, and the leftover capstones for the back legs
