By conveying our deeper thoughts on Hive, we can uplift and support each other across the blockchain. This week we had some wonderful authors visit to share their life reflections, wisdom, and snapshots of their experience on this rock with us.
No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️
Growth, development and sustainability by @bipolar95
If I had a million dollars and I needed to spend it all on charitable acts, what would I spend it on? Well, it will interest y'all to know that it has been my biggest dream to industrialize the Niger Delta. It's quite unfortunate that with all our oil wealth, our region is plagued with widespread unemployment and poverty. Since we won't get any help from the government, I have been pulling my weight in my little way. Having worked with an NGO for seven years and with all the knowledge that I have gathered, if I have a million dollars, I will set up various industries based on the resources that are most prominent or available in the area
Adventures In Homesteading (Day 183) by @jacobpeacock
Hello Everyone! A frigid evening, The tent setup worked well, Frozen water almost everywhere & Uncertainty sucks! Alright, I am only a wee bit behind schedule with my writing routine this evening... and hopefully I can also stay on track with my posting routine. I swear that this tiny bit of consistency has been doing me a world of good
Mi Diario: 1 diciembre 2024 // My Diary: December 1 2024 by @palomap3
Hola querido hiver.

My heart cannot contain the joy I feel inside of me.. I'm indeed grateful. You know most times when we pray, we keep asking for more blessings, more than we actually recount our blessings. Today, I just wanna be thankful for everything I possess : Life, family, friends, and the every little gift around me. My childhood friend called today and even made my day happier
Raising Unusual Kids ? (Question Mark!) by @honeydue
The other day, I really enjoyed this with social commentator and actress Brett Cooper from The Daily Wire. There's a lot to be found in this girl's story, her career changes and the integrity she seems to possess despite her young age (she just turned 23). One thing I particularly liked was, talking about her experience as a homeschool kid, she has no qualms about admitting that yes, she grew up a little weird. It's a big talking point in the homeschooling debate if I educate my kids, won't they miss a crucial social element that's present in public education? Won't they turn out a little unusual?
Heartbreak… by @ibbtammy
They say love is a beautiful thing but how come something so beautiful and sweet can shatter one’s life? How come something so beautiful can change a person completely? How? We all love to love and to be loved but not many people know how to move on when their supposed “Love” is no longer in the picture. Not many people can come to terms with the fact that it’s actually over with the person that they had spent so many months or years loving
Ending thoughts by @intishar
Life is the most precious thing and everyone has the desire to live a happy life. Unfortunately life is the most uncertain and death is the most certain incident for humans. Nobody has the power to break the shackles of death. I am still alive. I am physically fit and young in my present time
A gesture of gratitude by @lecia89
Hello everyone 🤗, welcome to my blog, this week's topic reminded me of a wonderful relationship found just by my little act of gratitude. In my country, after completing university, we are required to serve our motherland through a one year service course known as NYSC. I was posted to a state I had never been before, which was pretty far away from my home state. It was difficult for me to acquire an accomodation there because I didn't know my way around, and the rent is very high. One day, I met a man who informed me he owns an apartment that he solely rents out to NYSC members
Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #22 // A million dollars [Eng/Esp] by @mercmarg
Greetings ThoughtfulDailyPost community, stay healthy wherever you are. If you had a million dollars but had to spend it all on charity, where would you use the money? It's a question we are often asked from different realities that we live in. We find the money and now what do we do with it. This is the dream of many who have had the opportunity to be in NGOs, where they see different realities and come to think, if I have a certain amount of money here I dedicate it
"A snack to come back" [Eng-Esp] by @cajiro
All of us at some point in our lives have experienced a heavy day at work, and I am not talking about a literal burden or effort, but rather I am referring to those days where certain things conspire against you. An altercation with a colleague, the incompetence of others and the lack of responsibility make you suddenly look at the clock and you are surprised that only half a morning and the stress and emotional pressure are like that of a working day of more than twenty hours. At times you feel so suffocated that you simply want to run and leave everything behind, trying to find a button that allows you to restart a day that seemed to be much better than what you have now. That's how bad I could feel, and I admit that at times I couldn't find what to say or what to think in order to drain things a bit. What bothered me the most was the cold and disinterested reaction of others and how they did absolutely nothing to remedy things a bit
