Hi Hive,
Here's a little song i wrote a few months ago, i'm just trying to get back into playing guitar after a few weeks off and thought i'd try this one out.
In my mind the idea of the song, is that in the end, we all seem to be in the wrong a little bit, no matter what. The universal truth or universal correctness is far too complicated for us to fathom but i like to think that in a way, you have to just do what feels right, as long as your conscience can rest easy, you're doing ok. As you may be able to tell, i've had a little wine tonight and will just continue the post with writing the lyrics.
Lyrics:
The Saints and the Sinners
Share candle lit dinners
The losers and winners
The candle light flickers
No one is wrong
No one is right
No one is getting
Out of here tonight
And if the sun doesn't rise upon the righteous
And the moon neglects it's role
The ocean will still
And the stars will not shine
Will there be enough time
And no one is wrong
No one is right
No one is getting
Out of here tonight
The sound of the rifles
Small arms and screams
Villages crumble and blood fills the streams
And no one is wrong
No one is right
No one is getting
Out of here tonight
Thanks Hive.
