Warm greetings fellow reflection Hunters! π π π β¨ π€
For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 187, I'd like to share with you a round of photos that I took just a short time ago today, in the late afternoon, of the fantastic reflections, in my ever-trusty portable mirror, of some of the giant timber bamboos that are growing on the property, along the first driveway. Most of the shots are of Dendrocalamus giganteus, one of the largest bamboos in the world, sometimes reaching more than 120 feet tall, with culms over 1 foot in diameter.
There are a great many different tropical clumping bamboos growing all over the property, many of which are used for construction here. They're also a frequent subject of my photography, with the above-mentioned species being by far the most impressive. As with every batch of photos that I take for these contests, I get shots from various angles, lighting, and proximity. I really like how some of these photos turned out, and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did when I took them today! π π π β¨ π€
