This guy Ted, strong willed and resilience in his doings always with the mindset of change for himself and the people around him.
Whenever he was asked about what he wanted to do in life he always said he wanted to cause a worldwide positive change of which people always laughed at considering the fact that he was from a poor background and even struggles to get the needed basic amenities.
Whenever Ted was in the gathering of people,he was always mocked due to his dreams that were tagged as "the effect of hunger and poverty" this always made Ted upset but he would always say; "all I see in my dreams will definitely come to reality, your words hold no depth in my heart" Ted fueled by his determination to cause global change decided to take the first step into actualization of his dreams by joining a political party.
In his dreams he sees himself among world leaders, addressing them and having the upper hand in decisions that concerns the globe how he rides in expensive private jets, cars, lives in a luxurious house and is heavily guided like a president, he believes so much that he would become the president of his country that's where he can actualise his dreams.
He join a political party, was diligent and always available whenever the party called. It was time for nomination for governmental campaigns, he pleaded with the political party members to nominate him, he promised not to disappoint them and told them about his dreams, the party chairman lashed at him saying; "of what necessity is a dream without monetary resources to accomplish it?" He asked Ted how he planned on funding the upcoming campaign if he was to be nominated, but Ted couldn't give a reply because he knew his financial background and how poor his family was, hence Ted couldn't get nominated rather a richer part member was nominated.
Ted was broken so much because he could see his dream fail in front of his eyes and couldn't do anything about it, there was nobody to support him or encourage him, nobody was willing to give him a chance because he was seen as a failure,the only support he got from people was all negativity and hurtful words. For the very first time in his life he felt the hurtful words of his friends and people around him gain access to him, he became so broken that he started asking questions and doubted if he will ever emerge to something great, if how beautiful his subconsciousness was, was just a dream that would never be actualized. "Am I a fool for dreaming?"he asked but got no response, "I felt great leaders were the ones with great dreams" he asked, he was so heartbroken and tears kept rolling down his cheeks while he was on the floor wailing.
"After all the world was right in all they said about I and my dreams, I had too big a dream for a person of my caliber" Ted concluded.
