Addiction is a serious problem all over the world. There is no country in the world that addiction does not affect. It is not easy to see young men waste themselves through drugs. Addiction kills young minds and initiatives. The menace of addiction has killed the productivity of the youths.
Addiction comes from the desires of the flesh. It is because of what our fleshly desires, that is why men give themselves to addictions. When the influence of substances which people have been taking begins to control them, they will lose their will power and become controlled by those substances.
To overcome addiction, we should turn to God. It is the word of God that will change our hearts and give us the power to overcome the evil force that is causing addiction. Let us hold fast to the word of God and not allow the flesh to control us.
