A warm greeting to everyone. If there is one thing I am sure of, it is that dreams achieved in life are full of sweetness and personal satisfaction. This week #225 on Hive Open Mic we explore the theme: "Sweet dreams", and I am pleased to share my interpretation with the trumpet of "Across the Universe", an acid folk song by the band The Beatles composed by John Lennon in 1968. I love the lyrics and I consider it to be a dream of humanity, of a world full of peace and love. Like several songs by this legendary group, it is influenced by Hindu and psychedelic music. This musical piece is in C Major and you can feel a dynamic of openness and radiance. The rhythm is medium slow and has a mainly homophonic texture, with polyphony in the choruses. I really think it is a wonderful song, and it is that we all wish and dream of a better world.

Dreams come true when we fight for them. As a child, I had great aspirations and I believe that some of the most important ones have come true. Others, still pending, may have their moment and develop in different circumstances. Often, we start a path with one expectation and end up on another unexpected one. I am convinced that God's plans are greater than ours. Therefore, instead of waiting for things to happen, we must be the protagonists of our destiny. And when things do not turn out as we expect, it is essential to cultivate gratitude. A failure is not the end, but an opportunity to reinvent ourselves. Some time ago, I decided to take an elective course at university, and that decision led me to explore new options. That is how I discovered my talent and, more importantly, I found something that I am passionate about.

Across the Universe
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe
Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter, shades of life are ringing through my open ears
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe
Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
