Our life is full of temptations and as soon as I get rid of one temptation the next one is already in line and I want to understand where it came from what is its nature is it from God or not.
Yes quite recently having studied the issue of growing a fruit and berry bush called bog blueberry Vaccínium uliginósum I learned all the problems associated with this and decided to abandon this idea this plant is too demanding in terms of soil quality and care which I can hardly provide therefore I threw this idea aside as a temptation that I should abandon.
And literally the next day YouTube bombarded me with recommended videos about the fact that there is an alternative to Vaccínium uliginósum, there is a plant that is very resistant to habitat conditions and frosts with berries that taste similar and this plant is Honeysuckle Lonícera.
I decided to learn as much as I could about this plant and started reading and watching videos on the subject.
But I must admit I have never tried these berries, and I saw one of the varieties of honeysuckle on a lawn near the roadway, which no one was looking after.
As it turns out not all varieties of honeysuckle are edible, there are decorative species and there are varieties of this plant that are poisonous to humans.
It seems to me that this case is like a pig in a poke, when I can’t be sure exactly what kind of plant they will send me if I decide to buy seedlings and I will find out only when I see the harvest.
Besides, as one proverb says there are no friends for taste and color therefore I do not want to rely on someone else's taste in this matter.
Therefore, this topic is open for me until the moment when I can say with confidence that my desire to grow this plant and my understanding of all its pros and cons of growing it come together.
