Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying yourself. The semester break in Istanbul is going very well with the nice weather. Traveling with my siblings by means of transportation such as ferry, metro, Marmaray and tram and the crowds of people got a little tiring. We took a one-day break to take a break from our tiredness and busyness and to take a walk in this beautiful weather. We caught this calmness in the streets of Üsküdar.

Umarım keyfiniz yerindedir. İstanbul'da sömestr tatili havaların güzel olmasıyla birlikte gayet güzel geçiyor.
Kardeşlerimle vapur, metro,marmaray ve tramway gibi ulaşım araçlarıyla yolculuk yapmak ve insanların kalabalığı biraz yordu. Hem yorgunluğumuza ve yoğunluğa ara vermek hem de bu güzel havada biraz yürüyüş yapmak için ulaşım araçları ile yapacağımız yerlere bir gün ara verdik. Üsküdar'ın sokaklarında bu sakinliği yakaladık.
We walked from Üsküdar beach to Kaftan street with colorful stairs. While walking, I showed my brothers the remarkable buildings and places across the Bosphorus, that is, on the European side of Istanbul. When there were areas that caught their attention, they asked me. Since Istanbul has a complex structure, when they understood these places and their locations better, they were able to eliminate the complexity in their minds a little more.
Üsküdar sahilden renkli merdivenlerin bulunduğu kaftan sokağa doğru yürüdük. Yürürken boğazın karşısında yani İstanbul'un Avrupa yakasında dikkat çeken yapı ve mekanları kardeşlerime gösterdim. Onlarında dikkatlerinin çektiği yerler olduğunda bana sordular. İstanbul karmaşık yapıya sahip olduğu için bu mekanları ve olduğu konumları daha iyi anlayınca biraz daha kafalarındaki karmaşıklığı gidermiş oldular.
After walking for 10 minutes, we came to Kaftan Street. This is the street of any neighborhood in Üsküdar. it doesn't make any sense. I saw this street on social media. That's why we wanted to see it. The stairs of the street, which has a beautiful view, were painted and the view was made more attractive.
10 dakika yürüdükten sonra kaftan sokağa geldik. Burası Üsküdar'ın herhangi bir mahallesinin sokağı. Herhangi bir anlamı yok. Bu sokağı sosyal medyadan görmüştüm. O yüzden görmek istedik. Manzarası güzel olan sokağın merdivenleri boyanarak manzara daha çekici hale getirilmiş.
The stairs, guardrails, the wall of the mansion overlooking the street, windows, doors and the mailbox are painted in colorful colors. A clock and a painting are hung on the windows. There is a warning sign under the glass of the painting. The article was written by the owners of the White Mansion. According to the article; It is written on social media that it is one of the 6 most beautiful streets of Istanbul, that garbage should not be thrown on the streets, that it is monitored with 16 cameras for 65 days, and that it is in contact with the police station.
Merdivenler, korumalıklar, köşkün sokağı gören duvarı, camları, kapıları ve posta kutusu renkli renkli boyanmış. Camlara saat ve tablo asılmış. Tablo olan camın altında uyarı yazısı var. The street was crowded when we arrived. It was crowded when I came before. It is obvious that it attracted a lot of attention. People watch the view with admiration. He was waiting in line to take photos. When people take photos, everyone treats each other with respect. They were careful not to appear at the angle of the photo. I liked it very much. After watching the view for a while and taking photos, we left this street.
Sokak geldiğimizde kalabalıktı. Daha öncede geldiğimde de kalabaktı. Çok ilgi gördüğü belli. İnsanlar hayranlıkla manzarayı seyrediyor. Fotoğraf çekmek için sıra bekliyordu. İnsanlar fotoğraf çekerken herkes birbirine saygılı davranıyor. Fotoğrafın açısında çıkmamak için dikkat ediyorlardı. Çok hoşuma gitti. Biraz manzarayı seyredip fotoğraf çekildikten sonra bu sokaktan ayrıldık.
We turned towards the Kuzguncuk district of Üsküdar. The streets were very quiet. We walked again for about 15 minutes and came to Kuzguncuk. It was quiet here too. There were tables belonging to cafes and restaurants on the sidewalks of the street. People were chatting here over food and dessert. They were in good spirits.
Üsküdar'ın Kuzguncuk semtine yönümüzü çevirdik. Caddeler çok sakindi. Yine 15 dakika kadar yürüyüp Kuzguncuğa geldik. Burası da sakindi. Caddenin kaldırımlarında kafalere ve restorantlara ait masalar bulunuyordu. İnsanlar burada yemek ve tatlı eşliğinde muhabbet ediyordu. Keyifleri gayet yerindeydi.
So we went into a cafe and bought a cup of coffee. We wandered the streets with coffee. There were stairs going up one of the streets. We were undecided whether to climb these stairs or not. We had our eyes set on going out and we did. We were very tired but it was worth it. The view of July 15 and the Bosphorus from the top looked very beautiful.
Bizde bir kafeye girerek bardakta kahve aldık. Kahve eşliğinde caddeleri gezdik. Sokağın birinde yukarıya doğru uzayıp giden merdivenler vardı. Bu merdivenleri çıkıp çıkmama arasında kararsız kaldık. Çıkacağımızı gözümüze kestirdik ve çıktık. Çok yorulduk ama değdi. Tepeden 15 Temmuz ve boğaz manzarası çok güzel görünüyordu.
The colorful houses of this district were famous. We moved towards that street. As we were walking, there was a woman selling flowers on the street. The street was colorful with flowers. The windows of the cafes are decorated with potted flowers. The exterior walls of some cafes are colorfully decorated. There was also a church. The entrance door looked very nice. We couldn't visit because it was closed.
Bu semtin renkli evleri meşhurdu. Bizde o sokağa doğru ilerledik. İlerken caddede çiçek satan kadın vardı. Cadde çiçeklerle renklenmişti. Kafelerin camları saksıda çiçeklerle süslenmiş. Bazı kafelerin dış duvarları rengarenk süslenmiş. Birde kilise vardı. Giriş kapısı çok güzel duruyordu. Kapalı olduğu için ziyaret edemedik.
We came to the place where the colorful houses are. The colorful houses looked very beautiful. They had different structures. Each house is painted a different color. I liked the yellow house the most. Yellow color and exterior decoration suit very well. This place was more crowded than the colorful stairs. A lady asked me to take a photo. I took a photo of it. He liked the angle of the photo very much and thanked him.
Renkli evlerin olduğu yere geldik. Rengarenk evler çok güzel görünüyordu. Yapı olarak farklı yapıları vardı. Her ev farklı bir renge boyanmış. Ben en çok sarı evi beğendim. Sarı renk ve dış dekorasyon çok yakışmış. Burası renkli merdivenlere göre daha kalabalıktı. Bir bayan fotoğraf çekmem için ricada bulundu. Fotoğrafını çektim. Fotoğrafın açısını çok beğendi ve teşekkür etti.
There is an orchard right next to the colorful houses. Here people grow their own food by renting it from the government. It was broken into small pieces. You can't grow too many vegetables in one patch. They are separated so that vegetables can be grown for a maximum of two or three people. Crowded families may be renting a few pieces of space. We left here and the street was quiet as we made our way to the bus stop. Walking in this calm and beautiful weather was very good for all of us. It was a day we enjoyed. Renkli evlerin hemen yanında bostan bulunuyor. Burada insanlar devletten kiralayarak kendi yiyeceklerini yetiştiriyormuş. Küçük küçük parçalara bölünmüştü. Bir parçada çok fazla sebze yetişmez. En fazla iki veya üç kişilik sebze yetiştirilecek şekilde ayrılmışlar. Kalabalık aileler bir kaç parça alanı kiralıyor olabilir. Buradan ayrıldık ve otobüs durağına ilerlerken cadde sakindi. Bu sakinlik ve güzel havada yürümek hepimize çok iyi geldi. Keyif aldığımız bir gün oldu.
